Biography
Born in Brooklyn, disputably the roughest area of New York and home to many well-known MC's, Forte born Cory Cabelle underwent some tough times after his father and mother divorced leaving him caught up in an 18 year court battled whirl-wind starting only several years after his birth. Dealing with the frustration of the divorce and the inter-family quarrels that followed, this future rap superstar took comfort in the music that eased arguments and provided peace throughout his rough and violent upbringing. At age 17 after living with his father in Philly and Jersey, Forte left home to return to Brooklyn and completed his senior year at Sara J Hale High School where he soon made a name for himself as a fledgling rapper and beat maker. Known as "Cory" during lunchtime in Sara J's cafeteria and around the neighborhood, he was initially fascinated with the vibe of Hiphop and putting it all together building a name as "The Professional" which defined his outlook as a producer working with anyone and everyone from his neighborhoods in Philly, Jersey, and New York which were all his home. It was only recently towards December at age 24 that Cory decided it was his turn to be the artist and began producing himself writing his own tracks and lyrics.

Eventually, he created Streets To Poetry, a compilation of songs that describes life as he knows it just as entitled. Taking the streets and explaining and expressing them to those who don't know them, or to those who see them as something completely negative. To Forte, the Poetry is the possibility of the Streets, and it's language. Tracks that are on the Demo CD like Destiny define a relationship and the taking of granted of that ghetto fabulous feeling while in that relationship, claiming:

So what I got you right here wit me
Tomorrow it wont be the same
U probably gonna get caught in a game
Picture that today we chillin
Your sitting on my lap, we're reminiscing bout
Yesterday but look where we're going now

This cut expressed his musical back round and superior production talent as all instruments are self played and there are no samples which is almost unheard of these days. Even the hook that was melodically written astonishingly by himself, and sung by his step-mother Mikki a gospel artist shows the beautiful side of his talent and rings through clearly blending fluidically over his hardcore flow. The track "Stakes is Raised" is a message to all that his generation of artist are on a whole new level of entrepreneurship, self-reliance and bigger dreams that are soon to be accomplished:

My tribes young and we was raised bigga
Strong minds and bigga figures
Trying to own small countries
Your games through we comin up
A new millennium of cold soldiers
Brick cribs to full range game unstoppable

Already picking up the attention of local entertainment and record labels the poet Forte, deeply and poetically meaning "Fluently Orchestrating Reality Through Evolution", is sure to blow-up as his style and voice is indefinitely familiar as he already sounds like he's on the radio. He's got the image like he's always about to be in a video. Obviously he's on a level where he knows that much is expected of him in the market of Hiphop and rap music and comes to rise above the bar on every performance. This talented complex, yet vocally clear individual is moving at a nice pace to be chart-topping soon to come.
